Luck is an attitude!

Why do some people succeed without apparent effort? Do we take it for granted that these people are simply luckier than the rest? Do we think it is a matter of chance or unfairness? Some people are born with certain innate abilities, or in certain family and/or economic environments that by nature make it easier for them to achieve success, but all this does not guarantee anything if the person does not exploit those abilities. On the other hand, we can find people with profiles to whom things have not been easy because they do not belong to these wealthier groups.

Students’ development of soft-skills during a pandemic

The impact of COVID-related measures has accelerated de-globalization trends, taking a tool on international mobility and urbanization. Health fears over close human contact and global travel, combined with concerns about the secure supply of essential goods and services, are likely to change the way people, businesses and economies behave. As a consequence, this domino effect complicated the situation in SMEs and enterprises all over the world.
